Huge thanks to St. Muredach's College for inviting the our 5th & 6th year Economics students to participate in seminar on Wednesday 29th March by The Central Bank Governor Philip Lane & Derville Rowland, Director of Enforcement.
The seminar covered the role of The Central Bank in Ireland and its role in creating monetary policy in the Eurozone. It also focused on the regulatory role in governing financial institutions and its responsibility in protecting consumers. Students from both St. Mary's & St. Muredach's were afforded a question & answers session with the Governor & Director.
We wish to thank St. muredach's College for hosting the event and to the staff of The Central Bank for a very informative presentation.
