St Mary’s Secondary school choir is an integral part of school life and is well known in the locality for its high standard of singing. They sing at all school liturgies, school recognition days and on other occasions where dignitaries such as An Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Mary Robinson and Mary McAlesse have visited the school. The choir are also involved in the wider life of the parish and often sing at funerals and weddings of those connected with the school. They have sung with St Muredach’s Cathedral choir and other prominent performers at fundraising concerts in the community.

The choir produced several video recordings in 2017/8. 'Mayo Abú' was released to celebrate the Mayo Senior Ladies Gaelic football team reaching the All Ireland Final and also released a Christmas video in collaboration with the band 'Billow Wood'. Both videos received thousands of views nationwide.
