What a wonderful Recognition Day we enjoyed recently as we celebrated the many achievements, talents and contributions of our students across every aspect of school life.
One of the highlights of the day was the presentation of the prestigious CEIST Award, which is presented annually to a Leaving Certificate student who, throughout her time in St. Mary’s, has best embodied the core values of CEIST. The award recognises a student who has fostered a strong sense of community, shown respect and compassion for others, and consistently striven for excellence in her learning and all aspects of school life.
Congratulations to our outstanding nominees for the 2026 CEIST Award:
- Blathnaid Carr
- Hannah Breslin
- Aoife Blewitt
- Ava Golden
- Abi Doherty
- Kate Heffernan
Each nominee received a beautiful commemorative bracelet and a framed collection of the heartfelt tributes written about them during the nomination process by both their fellow students and members of staff—a fitting recognition of the positive impact each has made on our school community.
A special congratulations to our 2026 CEIST Award recipient, Aoife Blewitt. This honour is richly deserved, and we are immensely proud of the example Aoife has set throughout her years in St. Mary’s.
Well done to all of our nominees on this wonderful achievement. Each of you truly reflects the values that make St. Mary’s such a caring, welcoming and vibrant school community.
