Future Racing team choose to challenge by being the first all-girls team from the town to compete in the F1 Schools competition. This is a highly technical STEM competition where they design, build and race miniature F1 cars. Three boys teams from Ballina have made to the world finals for this competition (Team AIB Racing, Unity Racing and Annex Racing) so they decided it was time to get the ball rolling for the girls! Their ambition is to be the first all girl team to represent Ireland at the world finals.
