Huge congratulations to Lily, Michaela, Olivia, Orla and Lucy, who achieved an outstanding 3rd place in Ireland at the Young Environmentalist of the Year (YEOTY) Awards held in University College Dublin (UCD).
The girls were recognised for their impressive Second Year project on the housing crisis, which demonstrated excellent research, creativity and critical thinking while exploring one of the most significant social issues facing Ireland today.
To finish third nationally is a remarkable achievement, and we are incredibly proud of the dedication, teamwork and innovation shown by the students throughout the project.
Congratulations once again to Lily, Michaela, Olivia, Orla and Lucy on this fantastic success and for representing St. Mary's Secondary School with such distinction. Well done, girls!
