St. Mary’s is delighted to announce and congratulate Grace Ruane on her appointment as Senior Girl for the academic year 2026/27. Grace has been an exemplary student throughout her time at St. Mary’s, and we have no doubt that she will continue to shine in her new leadership role. Alongside Grace, we are equally proud to congratulate Lauren Comer, Erin Lewis and Tara Walsh-Moyles who have been appointed as Deputy Senior Girls. Lauren, Erin and Tara have all shown remarkable dedication and leadership within our school community, making them perfect candidates for these important roles.
As integral members of our student leadership team Grace, Lauren, Erin and Tara will work closely with school management, serving as role models for their fellow students and representing St. Mary’s at various events throughout the year. Their responsibilities will also include having a voice on the student council, linking with Fifth Year Mentors, and representing the student body at Board of Management and Parent Association meetings.
In collaboration with the Principal, Deputy Principal, and staff, our Senior Girl and Deputy Senior Girls will lead school assemblies, ensuring that student voices are heard and valued. Their leadership will be key in shaping the positive, inclusive environment that St. Mary’s prides itself on.
We wish Grace, Lauren, Erin and Tara all the best as they step into their new roles. Their commitment to their peers and our school is an inspiration, and we look forward to seeing them thrive and make a positive impact throughout the coming year.
Well done, girls!
